Operational Funding
Funding from the Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund for Sport, Culture and Recreation is available to support some of the operational costs of non-profit cultural organizations.
SaskCulture allocates lottery funds in the form of global grants to eligible provincial cultural organizations. There are currently 26 cultural organizations funded in the system, serving the areas of arts, heritage and multiculturalism.

This grant provides funding to enhance operational capacity of a cultural organization, such as staff and board development, strategic initiatives, pilot projects, organizational development and evaluations. Annual operating expenses are not eligible.

The Multicultural Initiatives Fund (MIF) has two streams. Through the MIF Annual Fund, organizations who are primarily ethno-cultural or multicultural in nature may apply for funding for their annual operating costs.
