Each year, SaskCulture brings members of Saskatchewan’s cultural community together to explore ways cultural leaders can work together to build a culturally vibrant province. The event has become known as a Gathering, because of how it brings together approximately 150-200 delegates from around the province to gather in one Saskatchewan location for a two-day learning and networking opportunity. SaskCulture also uses the opportunity to dialogue with its membership, and hold its annual general meeting.
Over the years, the Annual Gathering has featured prominent presentors on topics such as creativity, future planning, board responsibilities, understanding financial statements, getting the most from partnerships, assessing executive director performance, evaluating your programs, and embracing multiculturalism.
The Gathering has been held in Regina, Saskatoon, Humboldt, Prince Albert, Moose Jaw, and North Battleford.
These Gatherings are usually held the fourth weekend in October.
